Age 91 of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Vistas at Bettendorf.Born July 25, 1933 in Kulczyn, Poland, Holly was a daughter of Edmund and Johanna (Kitzmann) Fritz. She was raised and educated in Kulczyn and Wedel, Germany until her family emigrated to the United States in 1952 when she was eighteen. Holly's family settled in Morris, Illinois, where she worked at Hornsbys Stores for a time before she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she worked as a nanny. She later gained employment with the Milwaukee Railroad Company doing secretarial work for several years, then relocated to San Francisco, California where she would spend the next 40 years of her life. After retirement, she returned to Illinois and settled in Elmhurst before relocating to Bettendorf to be closer to family.Holly was a selfless woman who always aspired to help anyone in need however she could.
