Age 95, of Diamond, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Morris Hospital.Born on January 27, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, Dee was the daughter of Dominic Joseph “Duke” and Bertha (Facinelli) Rossi. At an early age, her family moved to Coal City, where she attended Catholic grade school before completing her education at Northside School and graduating from Coal City High School with the Class of 1947.While working at the Morris Paper Mill, Dee met the love of her life, Ivan Provance. The two were married on October 31, 1948, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Coal City. They began their life together in Morris before settling in Coal City, where they raised their family and built a home filled with love and laughter.Over the years, Dee dedicated herself to her career, holding positions at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant before spending 25 years with UniRoyal. She was also deeply involved in her community, devoting her time and talents to causes close to her
