Betty Eich Betty (Kirkham) Eich, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, at the age of 98. Born August 29, 1925, in Rockford, IL, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Winifred Kirkham. Betty's early years were spent in Rockford, where she graduated from West High School in 1944. On June 12, 1948, "Betty Boop" married her "Buddy", Wendell (Bud) Eich, who preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by their children Kathleen (Douglas) Kaltenbach of St. Germain, WI, John (Martha) Eich of Palm Harbor, FL, and Patricia (Michael) Chester of De Pere, WI; grandchildren Christine Kaltenbach, Amie Keske, Joseph (Staci) Kaltenbach, Benjamin (Amy) Chester, Mitchell (Kendall) Chester, and Devyn Eich; and great grandchildren Jakob and Connor Keske, Logan and Kenna Kaltenbach, and Maia Chester. Betty's amazing family circle extended to her sister-in-law, Charlotte Finn of South Wilmington, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. Her two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
