Maynard M. Crouse Born: January 12, 1933 in Clay County, IL Died: July 30, 2024 in Moline, IL Maynard W. Crouse, 91, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Overlook Village in Moline. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Sunday, August 4 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kris Zierke of Our Savior's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Seneca with military honors. Maynard was born on January 12, 1933, in Clay County, to Sharon and Rachel (Mascher) Crouse. On December 18, 1955, he married Thelma L. Clark of Jasper County who preceded him in death in 2020. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Maynard farmed and was employed by USI Chemical in Tuscola, Eli Lilly in IN, and Northern Petrochemical Company in Morris until his retirement.
