In his early years, if he wasn't finding ways to get into trouble, he stayed active and played football. He cherished outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of nature. At the age of 30, William relocated to the Chicago area to be closer to his family and start a career in carpentry, though he always maintained his pride for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies.
