Robert "Bob" E. Redfern Born: March 1, 1951 in Streator, IL Died: June 14, 2024 in Minooka, IL Robert "Bob" E. Redfern (73) passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024 with his family lovingly by his side. He was born March 1,1951 in Streator, Illinois, the son of Evelyn D. Redfern(Martin) and Everett J. Redfern. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Mars. Following his service to our country he became a lifelong farmer in rural Streator, retiring in 2022. Bob was a private and quiet person full of integrity and morals. He was independent and hard working, yet simple and non materialistic. He loved cars, motorcycles, Gunsmoke and his family. Bob is survived and missed so deeply by his daughters Erin(Eric) Redfern-Andrews and Laura Redfern, his grandchildren: Ian, Alie, Ava and Arlie, great grandchild: Jayce and close friend Mary Ann.
