Milovan "Mike" Eric Milovan "Mike" Eric, of Minooka, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 13, 2023, a week after his 90th birthday. He was born May 5, 1933 to the late Pejka and Nedjo Eric in Djurdjevica Tara, Montenegro. He went to work in the fields of Serbia at a young age, harvesting and plowing by hand as well as raising cattle. He also served in the armed forces and as a firefighter before moving to the states (New York City) in 1966 and then settling in Joliet in 1968. He is the beloved husband of the late Kata Eric (2022); loving father of Nada (Mike) Brozovich, Milan (Donna) Eric, Slobodan "Victor" (Veronika) Eric and Dusica "Darlene" (Rene) Otto; devoted grandfather of Joseph (Erin) Eric, Matthew (Amber) Eric, Catherine (Adam Berryhill) Otto, Stacie (Joe) Fechter, Robert (Crissy) Otto, Meghan (Jesse) Johnson, Joseph (Alyssa Edges) Otto, Nicholas (Taylor Ford) Brozovich, Lucas (Crystal) Brozovich and Jacob Brozovich; proud great-grandfather of numerous great-g
