Jonathon "Jack" Brunk
August 5, 1995 – February 7, 2025
Jonathon "Jack" Brunk was born on August 5, 1995, in Chicago, and from the very beginning, he filled the world with his smile. Jack's parents, Moira and Greg, along with his younger siblings, Mary-Kate and Leo, always believed without a doubt that having Jack in their lives was their greatest blessing.
Jack spent his early years in Glenview, where he attended the wonderful District 34 schools, making lifelong friendships. At the age of eight, he moved with his family to Newtown, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, where he lived for 20 years. When Jack was 10 years old he moved to St. Edmond's Home for Children, a place that provided him with love, care, and a second family. At 21, he transitioned to the Mary Campbell Center, where he continued to thrive and touch the lives of those around him. Three years ago, Jack returned to his hometown of Chicago, where he was blessed to reside at Misericordia Heart of Mercy, a place tha
